I continue to be amazed at how well Ryan is doing. Before you know it he willbe home and you will not be getting all the rest that you are enjoying now! Keep up the good work. I enjoy reading about him on his blog. That goodness for computers.

Good morning!
Thank you so much for the instructions on how to leave a comment on your blog. As I already explained to you, all of my comments must have been "Googled" or bypassed Google altogether and God must have reached out and grabbed them out of "cyberspace" and answered them immediately. Hey, that's a first--I might have "Googled God"! My family knows that I am not computer savy and they are all probably laughing at me right now--or maybe not if I still didn't do this thing right and this would be just another comment to float out there in cyberspace!

Here goes...my comment to Bill, Carolyn, and Ryan today is that #1: it is so great to see smiles in these pictures; #2: Glad to hear the epogen is working--I know from experience with Erin's leukemia when she was given neupogen (epogen is for red cell boosts and neupogen is for white cell counts)she had to have her white count built back up after chemo wiped all her "good" white cells away)that it is just a miracle how science has been able to provide these meds; and #3: I know the toll it takes on having your child living at a hospital (and you living there as well), but that bonding between you and Ryan is helping him grow and get stronger every day. I know that it is not possible for you to get into that incubator and sleep with him like I did when I ordered an adult bed for Erin and I to sleep in when I lived with her at the hospital, but I can tell you (and you can see that for yourself now) that it is so important for Mother and Child to hold each other--be sure to keep talking and singing to him as well. Love to you all, Aunt Marylynne (and Uncle Kevin, Sean, and Erin). Well, here goes--let's hope this comment goes through...Ashton family--STOP laughing:-)

Marylynne - When you and Erin slept together in the same bed at the hospital did you use the same bedpan? YUCK!

Hey Kids, as you guessed by now, Unc Bob here. So glad the little guy is coming along - we can't wait for our turn to hold him, bounce him off our knee while watching a cheeseball shoot from his nose.

WATCHOUT! The nurse behind you is sewing her left arm into Ryan's IV! Tell her to get her own epogen!

PS - Marylynne is wrong, epogen is the medical term for grape juice - I know I graduated pre-med...or was it pre-law?....Same difference - HA!
